Zidane, a Champions League victor with Real as a player in 2002, replaced Rafael Benitez as manager at the Bernabeu in January, with Real still reeling from a bruising 4-
0 hammering by Barcelona earlier in the season and facing the prospect of a second successive campaign without major silverware. A fitness question entering the game, the Real Madrid talisman made the starting XI but didn't seem quite right during the match.

But a dead leg was the extent of the problem and Ronaldo took full part in a training session at the San Siro last night.
"It's going to be a very complicated game", Zidane added.
(Reuters Photo) Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos celebrates after scoring his side's first goal during the Champions League final football match between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid at the San Siro stadium in Milan.
He's never won a major trophy with the club with him saying to the press, in a pre-match conference, that he's looking to end this at the home of his parent club AC Milan, with him poised to return to Milan after this match saying this is "the most important" match of his life.
"We started the game badly, then we got ourselves organised from the 20th minute".
Atletico's shattered coach Diego Simeone added: "It hurts to see the people who paid for the tickets and I couldn't give them what they wanted". Emotionally I would love an upset here because I respect Simeone and his achievements so much; but I'm not sure he'll hack it! The win was enough to clinch Real's 11th Champions League title, or the Undecima.
And he said beating their bitter city rivals in the final again for the second time in three years was extra special.
But this time, two periods of extra time brought no goals, meaning penalties would be needed to determine the victor.
Zidane has coached for less than five months, yet is already just the seventh man to both coach and play for champion teams in the competition's 61-year history. The goal was a controversial one with TV replays showing he was offside. "I suppose you've had the experience so you know what to expect", he said.
Torres, a Champions League victor with Chelsea in 2012 said he's ready to give it everything.
The Costa Rica goalkeeper told UEFA.com: "It's a dream I've had since I was a boy and today I can say it's a reality".
Atletico struggled to break through Real's defences in a rather boring first half, with 32-year-old striker Fernando Torres failing to complete a single pass.
But they now have another crack at the title and at Real on Saturday.
"If you have one lack of concentration in the game you can lose it, but that's in general not just against Atletico".

Cristiano Ronaldo added the finishing touches as Real Madrid were crowned kings of Europe for an 11th time with a 5-3 penalties victory over Atletico Madrid, after a 1-1 draw in the Champions League final on Saturday.
